Who we are

Putby is built and operated by AppCoder Software Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 09417271), 123-131 Bradford Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B12 0NS. Contact us at hello@putby.co.uk. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration number ZC207368.

The waiting list

Putby isn't open yet. If you join the waiting list we keep your email address, the time you joined and, if you tell us, which accounts software you use. We use them only to tell you when your place is ready and, now and then, how the build is going, and the software you use helps us decide which connections to build first. Our lawful basis is your consent. Every email we send has a link to leave the list, and you can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, in which case we delete your details.

To stop abuse, we keep a hashed version of your connection's IP address for one hour after you sign up.

Who else handles your data

Google Cloud (Firebase) hosts this site and stores the waiting list in its London region (europe-west2), under Google's data processing terms.

Cloudflare answers DNS queries for putby.co.uk. When you join the waiting list, its Turnstile check looks at your browser to make sure you're not a bot. It sets no tracking cookies.

When we email you, the emails are sent by a transactional email provider under its data processing agreement. We'll name it here before the first email goes out.

We do not sell your data, and no one else receives it.

On your device

This site sets no cookies of its own. There are no analytics scripts and no advertising pixels.

How long

We keep your place on the waiting list until you leave it, or until Putby opens and you either create an account or tell us you're no longer interested. If we stop building Putby, we'll delete the list.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, send you or delete the data we hold about you by emailing hello@putby.co.uk, and we will act within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Putby is for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
